I have lost 120lbs. I have become a runner. I eat very healthy. I have a lot of loose skin on my arms, abdomen, and thighs. I have been at a plateau for over a year. I am frustrated and sad as I want to reach my "goal" weight but feel as though My extra skin is inhibiting my forward progress, especially my running. My issue in money. I would have my arms done now but money is not there. Are there any programs or ideas as to finding funding or assistance. Thank you,Donna

Answer: Assistance for Plastic Surgery After Massive Weightloss
You need to ask your arm lift surgeon - but typically assuming all is healed, you can return to all normal activities in 3 weeks, and all sports at 6 weeks. You will have lost stamina - so you start back slowly. Best wishes.
Thank you for your question regarding why your doctor didn't perform liposuction during your brachioplasty. Every plastic surgeon is different, and every plastic surgeon has a surgical technique. Some plastic surgeons always perform liposuction during an arm lift, arm reduction, or brachioplasty...
The placement of brachioplasty incisions depends on factors such as skin laxity and individual anatomy. Common placements include the inner arm or along the back of the arm. Consult with a skilled plastic surgeon to determine the best option for your specific case.
