How New Can an Acne Scar Be Before I Can Perform Laser Peel?

I got a laser procedure for my active acne and on my 4th treatment the doctor decided to use more power and it ended up in scabs. Now i have many brownish marks. On one of them it took a month for the scab to fall off and now its indented with a dark reddish pink center and brownish outline. It's been 3 months and it's still dark in color and indented. When can i get a laser peel for scar removal done? Do i need to wait for the scar to fully heal to skin color or can i get it now. Thank you.
