FUE Hair Transplant Capable of Natural Looking Hairline

+1

This depends on which technique you choose. Certain techniques proffer better outcomes than others. In the case of hairline design, this is true namely due to the source of donor hair. For soft, natural-looking hairline design I would recommend FUE hair transplant. FUE—follicular unit extraction—removes hair in individual follicular units as opposed to excising a strip of flesh from the mid-rear scalp. This method of singular unit excision typically creates less scarring in addition to opening up the pool of donor hair. Through advanced FUE with uGraft, hair can be extracted from non-traditional donor sites where the hair is of a finer caliber, more suited to a natural hairline. Such apt donor sites include the nape of the neck and the legs.

Using individual hairs and follicular units will give a very natural frontal hairline

+1

It is always possible to achieve a very natural looking frontal hairline. Some of this relates to the surgical skills of the physician, but a lot is relative to artistic skills and knowledge of how the frontal hairline changes with MPA or FPA.Paying close attention to hair density, randomness, direction  and blending with the hair immediately behind the frontal hairline is important. Ask to see some photos of cases the physician has done. Also be aware that a womans's frontal hairline is very different from a man's frontal hairline, particularly in regards to density

Appearance of Hairline after Transplantation

+1

There are many factors that will influence whether or not the hairline will look natural after hair transplantation, including: 1. how  many grafts are necessary, 2. the texture and density of the donor hair, 3. the present and ultimate extent of your baldness, 3. the experience of your surgeon. Some patients prefer the Fleming/Mayer Flap because normal uniform density without a change in hair texture and total freedom of hair styling can be achieved.

Natural looking results after hair transplantation

A better way for you to approach this issue is to come in for an in-person consultation with a hair transplant surgeon.  During your consult, your doctor and his staff can show you a number of before and after photos of previous patients. You will be impressed that this procedure can produce dramatically pleasing results that are natural looking and durable.  Best of luck, Dr. P
