Nasal Pain and Dizziness One Year After Rhinoplasty

Respected sir, My name is kumar and i had rhinoplasty surgery nearly one year ago. Since then I am having problems with the inside of my right side nostril at the tip. It's very painful.

I have informed my doctor, but he said there was nothing wrong and prescribed some medicine. But, there is no improvement. Iam sufferng with severe pain, dizziness and frequent headache. Please give me your suggestions for what to do about this problem.

Pain in nose after Rhinoplasty may be an infection

I have done many Rhinoplasty and Revision Rhinoplasty surgeries for almost 20 years and I can't recall a patient having these types of symptoms anytime after a Rhinoplasty especially after 1 year. I am not familiar with what was done to your nose aduring your Rhinoplasty but pain inside the nostril by the tip may indicate a smoldering infection if your plastic and cosmetic surgeon used a graft in your tip at the time of your surgery. Pain after Rhinoplasty

Infection, an open wound, an ingrown hair, or irritation from a suture placed at the time of surgery could cause local discomfort. These problems should be seen with nasal examination. If your symptoms continue , get a second opinion from another physician. Good Luck !
