I can see slight nasal hair from the bottom of my nostrils. This wasn't visible before. Is this normal? I had my tip de-projected and it also looks more rotated so maybe the fact you can actually see my nostrils a bit more is why I have noticed this. There is more coming from the area where the incision was made inside my nostrils, could I have grown more hairs in response to healing?!

There is nothing about rhinoplasty which could explain the bumps or sores in your mouth. After very many years in practice I have not seen mouth sores related to the 'breathing tube' in the course of anesthesia. Let your surgeon know, but also check in with your primary physician to help track...
The periosteum and muscle over the nasal bone swell after Rhinoplasty. This takes months to resolve and the skin feels spongy over the bridge. We recommend massage 2-3x/ day and occasionally re- taping for a month. The scar fade gels will help. Give it time! Dr. G.
Your nose can be "upturned" a little bit, but do not do it. A pig snout is not an attractive facial feature. Your profile is very pretty.
