I've just had lipo on my flanks and one side looks bigger than the other. Should I be worried?

Hi.  If you just had the liposuction done, it's very likely that the differences you are seeing now are related to swelling.  You really won't be able to judge the final results until the swelling goes down, and the tissues have a chance to re-drape.  Honestly, this takes about 6 months.  So, hang in there and don't panic.If, at that time, there is a little asymmetry, you and your surgeon can discuss the appropriate steps.  But way too early to tell right now.All the best,

You are very early in your healing process and are most likely swollen and bruised. Give yourself a good 4-6 months to see your final shape because it can take awhile for all of the swelling to resolve. In the meantime, continue wearing your compression garment and follow up with your operating surgeon regularly so you can be properly examined and evaluated and your concerns can be addressed.
