I know this is such a random question but I have seen a lot of questions from women wondering what underwear to wear, can we wear socks, etc...so I have to know? Is the surgery performed on me while I am nude and will I be allowed to wear socks? If I am not naked, what type of underwear should I wear? Thx u so much.
Answer: Nude during surgery
Yes, even though everything except the tummy will be covered with surgical drapes, you will be nude during the actual procedure. (You can wear socks, though.)
You'll also have SCD/stockings on, and a warming blanket.
All the best!

Answer: What to wear for Tummy Tuck Surgery?
Thank you for your question.
When you arrive at the surgery center, you will be asked to remove all of your clothing and you will be given a surgical gown to wear along with socks to keep you warm. You will be given a heating blanket to keep you warm before the procedure.
We recommend to patients that they should wear something easily slipped on and off for after surgery, including slip on shoes so that they don't have to bend over or tie their shoes.
I hope this helps.

Answer: What to wear for surgery
LOL!! Cute question.
Yes, you will be nude for surgery. However, best surgical practices will make special steps to keep any exposed part of your body to a minimum. This is not only for privacy but also to keep you warm. Keeping you warm helps to reduce nausea and improves recovery. There are special heating blankets that I use routinely. Check with your surgeon regarding the facility you will go to. Usually the facility will supply you with special non-slip socks. So you don't have to worry about bringing your own. You will not be wearing any underwear. I advise wearing loose fitting sweats which are easy to get on and off. Good luck.

Answer: Patient surgery wardrobe
During surgery you will be nude. Only the operative areas are exposed, the rest of you will be covered with blankets and surgical sheets. Some facilities even have a special warming device they can keep on you throughout surgery. Your body temperature is monitored throughout surgery to ensure your safety. You should be able to wear socks, but the facility may supply those for you. For your ride home, you may want to bring loose fitting clothes and shoes with tread (ie not flip flops).
