My Son Had Septoplasty Two Days Ago?

He doesn't have splints or packing. Wasn't told anything about irrigation. He has a follow up with Dr. in a month. He still can't breathe through his nose and its full of dried blood. What should he be doing to help with the healing

Care after septoplasty

No special care is necessary after a septoplasty to insure proper healing.  Dried blood within the nostrils can be cleaned with a cotton swab soaked in hydrogen peroxide.
