Will my Abdomen Fall with a Lipo or Will It Just Be Wrinkled?

I have loose skin and stretch marks after my kids. I'am 27 years old, 5'3 and weigh 166 pounds. I dont want a tummy tuck and I really want to better my shape. Im not planning to look like a Barbie doll but my concern is if my stomach can fall. I understand it getting wrinkled but I dont want it to hang. I have seeing alot of worse stomach than mine and they have had a great outcome. So will it hang loose or will it just wrinkle?

Liposuction of the abdomen ans laxity

Everyone responds differently to liposuction. Many variables go into the resulting laxity inlcuding where you started and where you ended, how much laxity you started with, the quality of the skin, etc..

It is impossible to say anything without some photographs. If you already have loose hanging skin you will have more of the same

To answer your question at least a photo (front, quarter turn and profile views) is needed; the best would be an in person examination. Who ever you choose to go to make sure to have them show you before/after photos of patients like you had liposuction only to see if you would like the results, and also ask the office to get you in touch with two people who had the same procedure so you can speak to them and see them in person.

You are only 27. The expectation is That the skin has enough elasticity to tighten up after suctionning. Having said that there are the particulars of your extra weight and its distribution and the skin quality. Those issues will need to be properly evaluated during consultation.

Hi. Hard to be specific without pictures, bit it sounds like you will be disappointed without a tummy tuck. You will probably have a combination of hanging skin and wrinkled skin.

If you post pictures, I can give you a better idea. If you have loose skin before liposuction and a significant amount is sucked out, you will have more loose skin after liposuction.

Really hard to give a useful answer without at least some photos, though what you ask can't always be answered with certainty even with an in person exam. If your skin is loose now, it will probably be looser with liposuction. If enough fat is removed, there can be loss of structural support to the skin, and in that setting the skin may start to have an overhang.
