More Pronounced Dorsal Hump Appearing Post-septoplasty and Turbinate Reduction, Is this Due to Swelling? (photo)

I had septoplasty 8 days ago. I was told that septoplasty would not effect the external appearance of my nose at all. My nose was swollen for a few days, but now that the swelling has subsided, I'm noticing a larger dorsal bump. Is there any chance that this could this be due to swelling and will go down? I am unhappy with the end cosmetic result and I'm upset because I feel like my surgeon should have covered this possibility with me as I expressed a concern to maintain my current nose shape.
