It's been 3 months and 3 vials of sculptra but there are no visual results. The skin just feels better to the touch. Can different injection techniques cause different response times? For example, if a doctor injects more deeply will it take longer for the inflamation to rise to the surface?

Repeat Sculptra Treatments for Results

Sculptra is a subcutaneous (under the skin) volume enhancement product that is used to correct facial fat loss, particularly due to aging. There is a difference between individual responses to Sculptra treatments. Like the applicartion of any filler, technique is important but it is also important to understand that repeat treatments are often necessary to achieve a desired result.

Fort Lauderdale Sculptra

I agree with Dr. Schwartz completely. Injection of the molecule in the deeper avascular tissue planes as can be done for cheek augmentation, chin augmentation, & enhancement of the jawline. The results are far ore natural & beautiful compared to over placement in superficial dermal compartments that can result in nodules.

Onset of result from Sculptra

Patients vary with their result onset times but typically 2-6 months after an injection is the time to see optimal result.

Different injection techniques for Sculptra

Deeper injections of Sculptra are usually the better way to go to give a more natural-looking result but may take longer to see the improvement due to the depth of placement of the filler. The increase in volume is quite gradual, starting 3 months after the injection and achieving a maximum at approximately 5 to 6 months post injection.
