Lateral Femoral Cutaneous Nerve

The nerve mentioned above has either been bruised, sutured, stretched or cut.   This is not an uncommon injury after tummy tuck. It can also occur naturally. Thorough examination and follow-up would help to distinguish between a temporary and permanent problem.  Some nerve medicines line Lyrica or Neurontin can help with the pain as you are recovering.  Best wishes on your recovery.

Meralgia Paresthetica

This symptom complex can occur after c-section, tummy tuck, and other surgeries due to injury to a nerve (lateral femoral cutaneous nerve). Most often the nerve is not actually divided, and some or all sensation usually returns. When symptoms are severe (yours sound rather mild) there are medications that can help. Let your surgeon know so that this can be followed.

Best wishes.
