Invisalign aligners are made from regular dental impressions

A material called Vinyl Polysiloxane is used to take impressions of the teeth. This material is used by being loaded into a tray, placed in the mouth and then setting (usually 1-2 minutes). This impression is sent to the Invisalign manufacturing facility and scanned (CAD/CAM) to make the aligners. The process takes around a month.

What do Invisalign records entail?

Invisalign Records entail a series of photos and radiographs (x-rays) along with an upper and lower impression and something called a bite registration. The records appointment will take about a half-hour.
