Mixto Laser Treatment 4 Months Ago on Eyes - Redness and Lumpiness Under Eyes

I had Mixto CO2 laser on my eyes 4 months ago but the skin under both eyes are still very red, lumpy, and what looks like scarring. Very big bumps on inner corner of both eyes? The redness and swelling has gone down considerably but what can I do about red scarring? Will this go away? I believe DR. really turned up the heat and was heavy handed with his technique. Will this cause permanent damage to tissues under eye?
