Can Skin Thin out After Mixto Laser Due to Tazorac?

I am worried about complications from the Mixto laser as I have used Tazorac for over 20 years to treat acne. I now have been advised to have the Mixto to remove precancerous lesions. I had a Jessner peel 2 years ago with good results, the down time was long 7 days to finish peeling, but no scaring or sagging. After reading some blogs, I am becoming concerned about the Mixto Laser procedure. Will my skin thin out?
