One month ago I had a revision fusion and a new fusion in my lumbar spine. The surgeon went in the same place I had my first fusion and now I have these holes/dimples/dents right where my scar was. Where the new fusion is the scar is perfectly fine. These dents are very tender and when I rub my incision they become very painful. I had staples on the outside and dissolving stitches on the inside. Is this something that needs attention right away it's not infected but I am worried it may become.
I have some dimples/dents after spinal fusion what is causing this? (photo)
