I havent ever had breakouts or this much oil. I went back on birth control (Mircette) thinking it would even out my hormone levels and no change. Help!

Treatment of excessively oily skin and acne after miscarriage
Usually hormonal changes can cause acne to flare and many times certain birth control pills which are progestogen heavy may exacerbate acne. It, however, does not mean that any patient having acne would have a hormonal imbalance, as most of the acne patients have normal hormonal profiles. If acne is occuring alongwith exessive hair growth in the beard area of a female patient for example, I always rule her out for polycystic ovary disease.
