Makeup for a Person with Milia Spots?

I've had milia all my life, but they get worse as I age (I'm 39 now). My milia are all over my face, not just near my eyes. I'd been using mineral makeup but was told that was a no-no. So what kinds of makeup are advisable for me to use?
