Skin Patchy and Bruised After Microdermabrasion

I just had microdermabrasion today. I've had it many times and my skin never reacted this badly. It's had a little redness that went down pretty quickly but now it looks patchy and even bruised! Any suggestions?

Bruising and patchy after microdermabrasion

I would contact your treating pratitioner. This does not sound typical and may indicate prolonged application of pressure or a deeper treatment.
