Microdermabrasion Redness? (photo)

Hi, i perform'd microdermabrasion with a at home kit, at first I had redness which is normal, the next day I woke up and it was fine, but, then suddenly in middle of the day, my face started itching with slight burning and severe redness. I used microdermabrasion in the past and it went fine, why did it happen this time? Was I too rough, or is my skin too sensitive? Or was it a allergic reaction? And will it go away on its own or did i damage my skin? (I'm 17 btw) thank you!
