Microdermabrasion has no effect on oil production in the skin but it may be helpful in unclogging pores and help to prevent new acne pimples. A series of microdermabrasion treatments can also help improve minor acne scarring.

If you mean for acne scars, your need regular dermabrasion. See a dermatologist if you are speaking about active acne.
