Microdermabrasion for Vascular Compression Hyperpigmentation? (photo)

About a month and a half ago I suffered from a non-surgical rhinoplasty complication that caused dramatic hyperpigmentation covering my entire nose and a skin ulcer on my forehead. Still the hyperpigmentation is very visible and now my entire nose is covered in unsightly blackheads that I am unable to treat. I have been considering microdermabrasion for the treatment of the blackheads and perhaps treatment of the hyperpigmentation. Would that procedure worsen my condition or help?
