I had the cool sculpt done one week ago on lower abdomen. It was extremely painful and I've been in pain up until yesterday. Finally my abdomen does not hurt but I've got a fever. I've been sweating night, then chills...could this be caused by the treatment?

Coolsculpting is great at freezing fat areas along the flanks and abdomen and thighs. It cannot treat internal fat such as in the case of lipodystrophy. For the best results please consult a board certified dermatologist with experience in coolsculpting.
Stay tuned! At last month's annual meeting of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Dr Jean Carruthers presented preliminary impressive results of using Cool Sculpting to treat upper arm fat and laxity. Not only did the fat lessen, but skin in the treatment zone tightened as well.
Cool Sculpting should be a perfectly safe treatment for someone with type 1 diabetes. As with any treatment I would recommend that you meet with a board certified plastic surgeon and be sure to disclose any and all medications, allergies and existing health conditions.
