Scar Healing Takes Time To Mature
Since your facial scar is fresh, it is a long way from reaching what its final appearance may be. It is unsettling to see how it looks now, but scar healing is a process that will provide some definite improvement. Whether a year from now you are happy with how it healed on its own or whether you would like to pursue scar revision for further improvement remains to be seen. The best thing you can do now is apply some topical or tape therapies and protect it from sun exposure.
