Messed up permanent make up

A couple of weeks ago I decided to get permanent makeup. It was for my eyebrows, lips and eyes. The eyeliner was done really really badly. It gives my left eye a strange lopsided look because the tattoo is not done right. I could kick myself for doing this on a whim. I just opened the yellowpages and picked someone. Now I'm embarassed to be seen and I lose sleep thinking about how bad it looks. Do you know who I should go to for removing the messed up eyeliner tattoo?

Hello, It's very importent for you if the pigment is iron oxide based. If so it can be removed by q-swich laser only a short time after the procedure. If the pigment is organic, it can be removed by laser any time.

Today, I just got my eyebrow's done, and absolutely HATE them.....I don't know what to do, I am embarrassed to go out of the house. I am suppose to put Neosporin on them every 2 hours, my question is: what will happen if I don't put it on, will they just scab over, and go away????? I want to get rid of the permenance makeup ASAP!!!!! HELP !!!!!

I had a lip liner applied a year ago. It is crooked, goes outside my lip line drastically on the upper right and has "blobs" of ink along the bottom of my lip and actually looks blue in spots. Help!!

If anyone is thinking of doing this I would strongly advise them to try the semi permanent make up first. It only lasts for approximately 6 weeks and will give you a better idea if you want to go ahead with it permanently...

I never really understood permanent makeup because how will you know that you will always want to wear that same color of eyeliner or lip liner? to the folks that have had the procedure done, i'm curious if you commit to a certain color or do most people just get black or brown (i can understand for eyebrows but eyeliner and lip liner?). i had no idea that you could also get semi-permanent makeup -- that seems like a much better idea.

O MY...I had my eyebrows done last year, and wanted them arched VERY high. It was my stupid mistake. I look either very evil or questioning everything. I want to get them removed very badly, as I have had no luck on job interviews (introducing me and my eyebrows!) 1. If anyone had it done , does it stop the growth of the new hairs? I had very thick eyebrows, this was the dumbest mistake I could have made.

I had my eyebrows done in April and I hated them. I found a place that does laser skin resurfacing on that area and removes the ink. It's quite painful because the Erbium laser burns the layers of your skin. You have to do several session to remove all the ink from that area and later they can treat for redness or hyperpigmentation. I have had 2 session so far and the ink is almost all gone however, it is quite red or pink. I have heard that it does take a couple of months for the natural color to return. Read about laser skin resurfacing with Erbium laser. If you live by South Florida I could give you a place that does it.
