Mentor's product is called PurTox.
Dear JulieKokesch
Mentor's product is also a Botulinum toxin A product just like Allergan's BOTOX. There is currently a Botulinum toxin B product on the market and this is called Myobloc and it is marketed by Solstice Neurosciences, Inc. Botox, Reloxin, Purtox, and Xeomin
Botox, Reloxin, Purtox, and Xeomin are all Botulinum type-A neurotoxins. While Botox is currently the only FDA approved Botulinum toxin in the United States, the other toxins should be approved soon. Reloxin and Xeomin are approved and being used in Europe. Interestingly, Purtox is a "naked" type-A botulinum toxin - meaning it doesn't have complex proteins around it. This may be the reason that it appears to have a faster onset compared to Botox.

New Botox Products on the Horizon Awaiting FDA Approval
Hi Julie,
As of two weeks ago at The South Beach Symposium, there was still talk of the "soon to be FDA approved " Mentor product, but no one had an accurate estimate. I am sure that we will all know when it recieves FDA approval. There was a lot of buzz about the new topical Botox products, also awaiting FDA approval.
Be well.

Merz Pharmaceuticals, which just acquired Bioform (the maker of the filler Radiesse) also has one on the market in Europe so they may have plans to bring that to market in the U.S as well....
