How Many Melanoma Patients Does a Mohs Surgeon See

There are too many variables to say for sure. Just ask the doctor. Some Mohs surgeons utilize Mohs surgery for melanomas, especially melanomas on the head and neck (i.e. lentigo malignas or lentigo maligna melanomas). In my opinion best option is to see a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon (i.e. member or fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery). These doctors have spent an additional fellowship learning Mohs surgery and reconstruction. Good luck.
