Does Medicare Pay for Hanging Skin After Gastric Bypass After Weight Loss
The answer is occasionally and unpredictably. The problem is that they do not authorize in advance, and if they turn it down, you may find your self with a bill that is 5 to 10 times the cost of paying for it yourself in advance.

Insurance may pay for panneculectomy, after extensive documentation. They will not pay for abdominoplasty. Abdominoplasty is cosmetic and you have to pay for it.
Panneculectomy is removal of the apron of skin regardless of the cosmetic results and the repair of the muscles and repositioning of the belly button.
