Medicaid and gastric bypass

It depends on which state you are in.  Most medicaid programs require you to be operated on in a Center of Excellence Hospital.  The criteria for payment also requires you to have medical problems related to obesity like hypertension, sleep apnea, and diabetes.  The third problem is find a doctor that accepts medicaid because medicaid pays so little.
