I got restylane injected in my nasolobial folds two weeks ago. The swelling and soreness is gone from where the restylane itself is but there is an area of puffiness near it that I'm guessing is where it was injected. It's not red or sore and the bruising is almost completely gone. It doesn't seem to be going down any at all. It's not major swelling. No one else has noticed but I notice. Especially in certain lighting. Could this be permanent?

A vascular-specific laser is your best option to efficiently clear these broken capillaries. If you want an alternative option, there is a prescription topical gel called Mirvaso which helps clear up small red vessels. Mirvaso is typically used to treat rosacea-associated facial redness,...
Thank you for your
question. After having restylane injections, it’s essential to wait 72 hours
before applying pressure in the specified area. Restylane will not displace as
it is injected into the dermis and is not free floating. After 72 hours, you
will be fine wearing goggles.
