Breast Implants Size Following Mastectomy?

I had a bilateral Mastectomy on 5/5/09. I will be having Breast implants after finishing my chemotherapy. What size of Breast implants will give me a full 34 C?

Breast implant size depends upon your body shape or size

Hello, Mastectomy patients are harder in breast implant sizing than cosmetic patients. The volume of breast tissue removed and your body type factor into the size as does your tissue "softness" after your chemotherapy. Your plastic surgeon is your best resource here.

250-300cc volume but decision can be made by using the sizing technique intraoperatively and selecting the best implant at that time either saline or gel types. It also depends as to how much muscle (pectorals) remain following the mastectomies.

Breast reconstruction

A good guess is somewhere in the neighborhood of 450 cc's. I assume you will have tissue expansion prior to final implant placement or have Becker one-stage reconstructive expander/implants. Both your plastic surgeon and you will determine the final size during the expansion period.
