My cosmetic coordinator is also a make-up artist.  She says to use a green base and then cover it with a mineral make-up to camouflage the redness.  She likes Mineral-Fusion powder that is sold at Whole Foods.

Makeup after Fraxel Restore

Fraxel REstore, not Repair, heals quickly and you can use makeup one day later. Sometimes, if the skin is very red, a yellow concealer first may help the foundation mask the color better. Otherwise, Dermablend or Covermark, found in some department store counters, can help hide the temporary color very well.

Hi, It is best to use a mioneral make up like Glo or Jane iredale. Ideally thje make up should be matched to your skin tone prior to the laser treatment. Be careful applying and especially removing your make up for a few weeks after the laser procedure as your skin will be delicate and easily abraided. Good luck and be well. Dr. P
