I suggest a board-certified dermatologist

I suggest going to a board-certified dermatologist. I'm not sure who at a salon would be performing the treatments, but laser tattoo removal can have complications so i would advise against going anywhere without a board certified dermatologist on premise. see video

Laser tattoo removal involves the use of the NdYag, Alexandrite, Ruby, V--beam and other lasers. Many of these are Q-switched lasers which give strong tiny bursts of energy to help shatter the pigment granules. depending on the state, some regions do not allow lasers to be done in spas. Safety much more important than cost

It's not clear what the exact question is, and it's not possible to tell predict all scenarios as to which facility uses which technology, cost, etc. Although pricing is important, it is far more important to find a facility that has the correct technology and skilled, licensed practitioners to provide a safe and effective treatment.
