I suggest a board-certified dermatologist

I suggest going to a board-certified dermatologist. I'm not sure who at a salon would be performing the treatments, but laser tattoo removal can have complications so i would advise against going anywhere without a board certified dermatologist on premise. see video

Laser tattoo removal involves the use of the NdYag, Alexandrite, Ruby, V--beam and other lasers. Many of these are Q-switched lasers which give strong tiny bursts of energy to help shatter the pigment granules. depending on the state, some regions do not allow lasers to be done in spas.
