Can a Lymphatic Drainage Massage Help with Pain Management 4 Years After I Had a Beltectomy?

I had a gastric bypass in 07, the following year I had a beltectomy overseas. In 2010 my mid section started swelling up .I later had a catscan on my mid section and nothing came up so the Dr. just told me I probably had a low grade ab strain. I went to my gastric bypass Dr a year later and he had a pet scan done & could not find any problems . He explained because of my beltectomy there might be a problem in my lymphatc system because there is not a good connection which causes the inflammation
Can a Lymphatic Drainage Massage Help with Pain
Probably the person who would know most about this would be the therapist doing the massage. Usually swelling from lymphatic obstruction is painless.
I cannot imagine any harm that can come from lymphatic massage. If it fails, consider seeing a pain specialist.
Thanks for your question, best wishes.
Massage and pain?
I doubt that four years after your belt lipectomy that you would benefit from lymphatic massage. If it helps I would be surprised.
