Lower Eye Lid, Slight Hanging After?

I had lower and upper eye lid surgery last friday. Everything appears to be ok except slight hanging lower eye lid on the left side. My surgeon told me to put my finger under the lid and push the finger slighlty up so the lid closes. I have to do this as many as I can. Will this help? How can I massage the lower eye lid?

Lower eyelid hanging after surgery

Pushing the droopy lower lid superiorly can help. This tends to improve over time. If now better in one month you can consider asking for a revision.
