A Lot of Irritation After Shaving, Post Laser Hair Removal (2 Treatments) is This Normal?

I started LHR treatments in April 2013, recently while shaving in between treatments it seems more irritated than usual. Looks like razor bumps after shaving but slightly burns only in bk area. Just want to know if this is normal?

This is normal when having laser hair removal done. The skin tends be more sensitive to shaving, especially for thicker coarse hair. After having at least 3 treatments the process will be easier as the hair is thinning out. Inform your medical provider to adjusting the laser to a lower setting if irritation continues.

Great Question!

Sometimes the skin can be more sensative then usual after a laser treatment. They might have used a high setting on the laser, ask your provider to turn down the settings and to look at the affected area to make sure everything is okay. Usually after a few treatments the hair gets thinner and thinner and the sensativity will go away. Hope this helps
