I Lost 200 Lbs in About 14 Months .can I Expect to Lose More Weight then a Normal Person Having Abdominoplasty?

in about a year I went from 450 lbs to 240. using mostly extreme diet (counting calories) and later running. due to the rapid weight loss i have a lot of skin here. i'm having a surgery later this year but am curious if in my circumstance the normal 2-5 lbs would still be about what i'd expect to lose?

Abdominoplasty after massive weight loss

A 200lb weight loss with diet and exercise is a terrific accomplishment - congratulations! Abdominoplasty after losing that much weight is a somewhat different procedure than a standard abdominoplasty after childbearing. The amount of tissue resected may well exceed 5 lbs.

You will probably lose more weight than average.

Congratulations on the weight loss! Without pictures, it is very hard to give an accurate assessment, but I would expect the weight of the skin excised to exceed 5 pounds. More importantly, you should have a marked improvement in the overall body contour and shape. Good Luck!
