Can a Loss of Pigmentation After Electrolysis Be Restored?

I have been having electrolysis on the area above my lip for a number of years however in recent months there has been a loss of pigmentation. This has left a dotted of line of whitened skin which has caused me extreme distress. My skin is fair. Are there any permanent remedies or solutions?
