Hearing loss related to rhinoplasty

"Sudden sensory neural hearing loss" is a  known entity. It can happen to anyone with out warning but no direct relationship with rhinoplasty has been reported. So if you or  some you know lost hearing following rhinoplasty is mostly coincidental.

Hearing loss after rhinoplasty

It is highly unlikely that the hearing loss is related specifically to the rhinoplasty. However, profound sinusitis or a serous otitis media following general anesthesia may be one cause and sensorineural loss from antibiotics could be another. Have your ears examined.

There is NO association between Nose surgery and hearing

Regarding : "Can you lose your hearing after rhinoplasty?" . While people can always lose hearing and even go deaf after a rhinoplasty ( due to loud sounds, trauma, stroke, certain medications etc), the two are NOT related. Nose surgery cannot anatomically affect hearing.
