I have been advised by my skin therapist to go for the ND Yag but there are so many lasers. Is one more effective than the other? I don't know which one to pick and whats the difference?

Hi TM. Although it looks like the treatment was a bit aggressive, it also looks like you are healing well. Flaking, scabbing and sometimes even bruising can accompany q-switched Yag laser treatments and we normally prepare our patients for having social downtime of about 5-7 days....

There is no problem using Q-switched lasers in a younger patient. The question is whether this is the right treatment for your skin and whether your parents agree with this treatment. I would recommend exploring those questions before deciding to move forward.
