I'm curious to know why if at all le fort I osteotomies might be performed in patients with normal bites. I know that it typically addresses mid face deficiencies, and I'm curious to know if it gives the same effect as implants or fillers in the Midface area.

I do not think you will be happy with any changes short of surgery for correction of your nose. Maybe speak with some surgeons in your area who offer financing. I would at least go have some in person evaluations prior to making any decisions. Best of luck
It is too soon to know what the final result from your rhinoplasty will look like. You still have significant swelling that can take up to one year to fully subside. It is wise to direct your specific post-operative questions and concerns to the surgeon who performed your procedure.
Dear merity, This would not be considered a normal recovery in my practice and I would suggest you see your surgeon for a post operative evaluation to answer your concerns. Wishing you a quick recovery. Best regards, Michael V. Elam, M.D.
