My mouth are also large so I can't smile or laugh without covering my face. And when people look directly at my face I look beautiful, but looking at side of my cheek or nose I'm not beautiful,I don't know why?
Answer: Nose appearance changes with smiling or laughing Many of our patients make their livings on camera. It is very important to analyze the face statically and during animation. Some aspects of the face can be improved upon, while others are best left alone. An experienced plastic surgeon with an interest in nasal surgery can help you sort through what is possible and what is too aggressive. As always with cosmetic surgery, it's best to leave the consultation with the impression that your prospective surgeon has listened carefully to your concerns and come up with a great plan to address them.

Answer: Rhinoplasty is performed at rest not while laughing The rhinoplasty procedure is performed at rest, not upon animation. If the tip of the nose droops when smiling, releasing the depressor septi ligament is required at the time of the rhinoplasty procedure. It is very difficult to prevent the nose from widening with smiling, due to the muscle attachments to the nose. if the nose is significantly wide at rest, it can be narrowed.

Answer: Rhinoplasty and your face A well designed rhinoplasty by a specialist rhinoplasty surgeon could change your facial appearance and smile problems. It's a very common complaint to have the nose drooping when one smiles. This is correctable, however side way movement is a function of many facial muscles that animate the mouth. This problem usually does not resolve after rhinoplasty. Hope this helps.
