I'm ready to get Vaser Lipo for my abs, pects, and merman lines. If I want the best results regardless of how high or low my body fat is, should I gain body fat before doing Vaser (upward of 18%), lose body fat (below 12%) or remain at my average body fat (16-18%)?

Sounds like you had a very un informed pre operative/post operative instructions... Vaser lipo causes swelling for up to 3 months [post operatively. Best to return to your surgeon for in person explanation so you are informed..// Sorry for this issue...
