Dear Doctors, My nasal skin is loose especially around lateral sides of the middle third of my nose directly above the alae. This has caused a few people to comment that I seem to have nonexistent alae grooves. I am quite perplexed about what possible procedures would effectively remove/reduce this. Please kindly advise! Thank u!

Loose nasal skin above alae.
It is impossible to know what you are describing without seeing it. See an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon for an opinion.

Options for loose skin around nose.
This sounds unusual and a picture would be worth a thousand words. Options might include excising the extra skin and deepening the crease.

Loose nasal skin
There is nothing that can be done about loose skin on the sidewalls of the nose. It would be inappropriate to excise that due to the chance of an obvious scar forming. Rhinoplasty is performed to shape and mold the bone and cartilage of the nose. The rhinoplasty operation is not a skin operation.

Hello,
It is difficult to give you any advice without seeing photos and/or performing an examination. If you wish, you may send any photos to my office and I would be happy to evaluate them for you. My contact information is listed in my profile. Thank you, and good luck.

Loose Nasal Skin
As others have said, it is difficult to answer your question without a picture. Is the loose skin covering nasal structures or is it actually lateral to the nose where it could be improved with a modified cheek lift?

Loose nasal skin
Like many of the comments, I would prefer a picture. A direct excision or laser tightening may be two options for you to alleviate some of the appearance problems of the is excess skin.

Can not really advise because you failed to post a photo so we can get an idea of the appearance of the "loose nasal skin". Seek in person evaluations from boarded surgeons in your area.

Loose skin on the side of the nose
This is an interesting question , but without seeing photos I could not suggest anything to help you. Sorry.

Loose skin around the sides of the nose
It is possible that you are describing a wide dorsum or side of the nose secondary to weak cartilages and bony support. However, without pictures it would be difficult to say for sure. There are options for narrowing the nose but that depends on your appearance. I would suggest a consultation with a facial plastic surgeon.
