How Long Do I Have to Wait to Exercise After Active Fx?

I am scheduled to get my entire face and neck receive an Active FX treatment. I am also receiving some light Smartlipo on my neck. How long will I have to wait to do Cardio on the elliptical?

Exercise after Active FX laser resurfacing

After an Active FX treatment, I usually recommend waiting two weeks before resuming exercise. At the very least, a patient should wait until after peeling has occurred, which is usually around a week.

Thanks for the question. I would consult with your physician regarding activity restrictions. For my patients, following an Active FX, I allow them to return to regular activity at around the 2 week mark once the skin is fully re-epithelialized and well healed.
