How Long Should Retin-a Treatment Be Stopped Before Getting Pregnant?

Stopping Retin-A treatment

There is no hard and fast rule for this, but to be perfectly safe, I would say stopping 1 month before getting pregnant. Others could easily argue even 1 week, but 1 month is being extra extra cautious. There are really concerns with oral retinoids like isotretinoin and pregnancy, whereas topical retinoids like retin-a are really just a theoretical concern.
