How Long Should I Stay Away from Direct Sun After Fractional CO2 Laser?

I intend undergo fractional CO2 laser skin treatment the first week of April and am concerned that I may not be able to climb in higher altitudes or ride my bike to work (approx 14 miles) for a period of time . I am a very active person and am unsure if I should undergo this procedure shortly before summer.
