Ten months ago, I had a scar revision done of my ear incisions from a prior necklift. A month after surgery, the PS used a CO2 laser to flatten and smooth the scars. I'm afraid he burned and permanently scarred me, as the incisions are still very red and the texture of the skin appears damaged. He keeps telling me it will eventually fade and to keep covering it with makeup. Hydroquinone simply irritates it, making it redder. Am I scarred for life? Sorry the pics aren't super clear.
How Long Will Redness from CO2 Laser Persist?
