There are multiple components important to achieving a good contour. High lateral tension, amount of tissue removal and tightness of closure, and the addition of liposuction to the flanks may all play a role here.

Lateral Tension Abdominplasty Tummy Tuck

LTA Lateral Tension Abdominoplasty is a specific type of a tummy tuck which enhances the waistline as will as the lateral flank, thigh region for a more sculpted look (hour glass). In addition the design allows further liposuction to achieve more contouring. Most patients are a candidate for this type of Abdominoplasty and is the majority performed in my practice.
