I am having explant and lift surgery soon. I am already booked but I am starting to get worried that maybe I would possibly be better off with replacement. Is it too late at pre-op to switch do a different procedure? Thanks!!
Answer: Changing Mind Thank you for your question. It is ok at any time to change your mind about an elective procedure. Call your surgeons office or set up another appointment to talk further.

Answer: Preoperative procedure changes It is never too late to change your opinion/mind about what procedure you will personally be undergoing. That being said, you should keep in mind that on the day of surgery, people’s nerves tend to “kick in” and can lead to changes that one may not otherwise have considered. That being said, if there is any doubt in your mind with regards to the procedure that you are about to undergo, my strong advice is to postpone/cancel.I wish you the best of luck.

Answer: Last minute changes Hi. It's far better to put the brakes on now - pre-op - than to go through with surgery and be disappointed later. Speak up, and tell your surgeon about your concerns.New implants can be Fed-Ex'ed overnight to the practice. Not a big deal.

Answer: Implant replacement It is best to go over this with your doctor. It becomes more of an issue if it is very close to you surgical date. Getting implants may be tough.
